SPIRULINA GROW CO – FOUNDER
Spirulina Grow Co was founded by Australian scientist Dr Ken Street – famous for being at the cutting edge of international efforts to safeguard the agrobiodiversity of some of our most important crop plants and thereby underpinning our future food security.
Dr Ken Street is the founder of Spirulina Grow Co. He is an Australian Agricultural Scientist (BSc Hon Agric, PhD) who spent most of his scientific career working in international research and development. The primary focus of his work was to collect, conserve and understand humankind’s ancient agricultural biodiversity.
Being an Australian working at the cutting edge of international efforts to collect and conserve mankind’s agrobiodiversity attracted the attention of one of Australia’s best documentary makers (Sally Ingleton) – the result is an educational and entertaining multi-award-winning documentary “Seedhunter”
Through his work, Dr Ken developed a keen interest in global food security and sustainability which sparked his passion for Spirulina.
Dr Street now resides in Perth Western Australia – as well as founder of Spirulina Grow Co he is a founding share holder of Selvanex Projects Pty Ltd (www.selvanex.com) whose aim is to promote spirulina cultivation in countries that struggle with the impact of climate change and face issues such as food insecurity and malnutrition.

Preventable Deaths and the System That Sustains Them
Millions are dying needlessly from preventable chronic lifestyle diseases while a profit-driven health model focuses on treatment rather than prevention. A single nutrient-dense food like spirulina exposes just how powerful true prevention could be.
The Toll
