How long until my first harvest? If you aim at running a 100L bioreactor,eExpect your first small harvest in 4-5 weeks, with regular harvests every 3-5 days after that. The culture grows faster in warmer conditions (22–35°C is ideal).
Do I need a tank or any extra equipment? You start growing in any clean glass or plastic container (a 2-litre jar works perfectly) and as your culture grows, you increase the size of your container to the desired volume. 100L is a good sized culture to run. An aquarium is perfect to use as a bioreactor. The only other essential equipment is an aquarium air pump and some silicone tubing.
How long will the nutrient last? The 1kg of Fast Grow starter nutrient gets you up to 50 litres of growth medium — The post-harvest mix is enough to grow approximatley 3.5 kg .
