Lemon Lime and Spirulina Smoothie

This nourishing Lemon, Lime and Spirulina smoothie is a fantastic option as the weather warms up. Perfect with a light breakfast.

Ingredients
  • 1 ripe frozen banana
  • 1 tbsp fresh Spirulina or frozen Spirulina cube
  • 1 1/2 cups nut milk
  • 1/2 avocado
  • a dash of cinnamon
  • a squeeze from a fresh lemon
  • 1 pinch of fresh lemon zest
  • juice from half a small lime
  • 1 pinch of fresh lime zest
  • 4 ice cubes
Method
  • Blend all ingredients except the Spirulina until the mix is smooth and creamy.
  • Add the Spirulina and give the mix a quick couple of pulses.
  • Enjoy the smoothie while it is still cold.
