Lemon lime and spirulina smoothie

A nutritious creamy smoothie with a twist of citrus. Perfect with a light breakfast.

Ingredients

1 ripe frozen banana

1 tablespoon fresh Spirulina or frozen cube.

1 1/2 cups nut milk

1/2 avocado

a dash of cinnamon

a squeeze from a fresh lemon

1 pinch of fresh lemon zest

juice from half a small lime

1 pinch of fresh lime zest

4 ice cubes

Method

  1. First blend all ingredients except the Spirulina until the mix is smooth and creamy.
  2. Add the Spirulina and give the mix a quick couple of pulses.
  3. Enjoy while the mix is still cold.
