A nutritious creamy smoothie with a twist of citrus. Perfect with a light breakfast.
1 ripe frozen banana
1 tablespoon fresh Spirulina or frozen cube.
1 1/2 cups nut milk
a dash of cinnamon
a squeeze from a fresh lemon
1 pinch of fresh lemon zest
juice from half a small lime
1 pinch of fresh lime zest
4 ice cubes
- First blend all ingredients except the Spirulina until the mix is smooth and creamy.
- Add the Spirulina and give the mix a quick couple of pulses.
- Enjoy while the mix is still cold.
